Do I have to prove my income to get food from Ozarks Food Harvest?
Ozarks Food Harvest does not publish a requirement either way. Each partner pantry sets its own, so ask the pantry before you go, or call 417-865-3411. Do not assume you are turned away: most pantries in the Feeding America network serve anyone who says they need help.
How do I actually get food from Ozarks Food Harvest?
Ozarks Food Harvest is a regional food bank that supplies member charities rather than serving the public from its warehouse. Go to ozarksfoodharvest.org/need-help/ and select your county from the list to get the pantries and programs it serves near you, then contact that pantry. Its own programs include mobile food pantries, senior food, weekend backpacks, after-school and summer food, and SNAP application help. The O'Reilly Center for Hunger Relief is at 2810 N. Cedarbrook Ave., Springfield.
When is Ozarks Food Harvest open?
