Do I have to prove my income to get food from North Texas Food Bank?
North Texas Food Bank does not publish a requirement either way. Each partner pantry sets its own, so ask the pantry before you go, or call 214-330-1396. Do not assume you are turned away: most pantries in the Feeding America network serve anyone who says they need help.
How do I actually get food from North Texas Food Bank?
North Texas Food Bank does not hand out food at its warehouse; it supplies about 500 partner agencies (pantries, after-school and senior meal programs, shelters, soup kitchens). Use the agency finder at ntfb.org/food-assistance/find-a-food-pantry/, then call that agency to confirm hours and requirements before travelling. There is also a mobile food distribution schedule at ntfb.org, run with Catholic Charities Dallas, Dallas College and UT Dallas. When is North Texas Food Bank open?

The Perot Family Campus is open Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-4:30 PM and Saturday 8:30 AM-3:30 PM, but that is for donations, not for collecting food.
