Do I have to prove my income to get food from United Food Bank?
United Food Bank does not publish a requirement either way. Each partner pantry sets its own, so ask the pantry before you go, or call 480-926-4897. Do not assume you are turned away: most pantries in the Feeding America network serve anyone who says they need help.
How do I actually get food from United Food Bank?
Neither United Food Bank address hands out food: its own pages say 'No food distribution at this location' for 245 S. Nina Drive and the volunteer centre at 358 E. Javelina Ave. Use the map at unitedfoodbank.org/findfood, searching by address, neighbourhood or zip code, to find the nearest of the 125+ pantries, mobile markets or meal sites, then call that site about how it distributes food or about dietary needs before going.
