Do I have to prove my income to get food from Feeding Westchester?
Feeding Westchester does not publish a requirement either way. Each partner pantry sets its own, so ask the pantry before you go, or call 914-923-1100. Do not assume you are turned away: most pantries in the Feeding America network serve anyone who says they need help.
How do I actually get food from Feeding Westchester?
Feeding Westchester supplies partner pantries and meal programs. Use the Food Pantry Locator at feedingwestchester.org/find-help/agency-locator/ to find a pantry near you, or the Mobile Food Pantry schedule at feedingwestchester.org/find-help/mobile-food-pantry-westchester-schedule/ for a mobile distribution. Their Mobile Food Pantry and Fresh Market make more than 500 stops a year in communities with little access to a traditional pantry: the Mobile Food Pantry carries fresh produce, protein, dairy and grains, and the Fresh Market carries produce.
