Feed More: How to Get Food
Feed More does not publish who qualifies, so the pantry decides — here is what it does say, and who to ask. It is a regional food bank, so it supplies pantries rather than handing out groceries itself: below is how to find the one near you.

Do I have to prove my income to get food from Feed More?
Feed More does not publish a requirement either way. Each partner pantry sets its own, so ask the pantry before you go, or call 804-237-8617. Do not assume you are turned away: most pantries in the Feeding America network serve anyone who says they need help.
How do I actually get food from Feed More?
Feed More is a regional food bank that supplies partner pantries and meal programmes. Two routes described consistently across sources: (1) use the Agency Locator at feedmore.org/agency-locator/ - enter your address or ZIP code, then filter by city or county, days open or language; each result shows hours, services offered and whether an appointment is required; (2) call the Feed More Help Line (formerly the Hunger Hotline) on 804-237-8617, where staff take some details and refer you to a pantry near you, and can also connect you to Meals on Wheels, SNAP and WIC. There is also an inquiry form on the website.
When is Feed More open?
Days and hours belong to each partner pantry and are shown per agency in the Agency Locator at feedmore.org/agency-locator/. Feed More's own administrative offices are described as Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. Do not rely on any third-party list of pantry hours - check the locator or call the Help Line.
Does Feed More cost anything?
Free. Listings for the Help Line and food assistance locator state 'No Fee'.
What do I need to bring?
Not stated on the Feed More page we read. Bring an ID and something with your address if you have them, and bags or a box for the food — but do not stay home for lack of paperwork; most pantries take you anyway.
