Teachers and students at a K-12 school or University, who agree to use the account only for classroom work. No country restriction stated.
How to verify Basecamp’s student discount
- 1Prove your enrollment to BasecampSign up for Basecamp, then email 37signals from your school account: students give the name of the school, what they are studying and their expected graduation date; teachers give the school, the class they teach and proof they teach it. The discount is applied after 37signals verifies it by hand. No third-party verifier.

Limits and exclusions
One discounted account only. Payments made before the discount started are not refunded. Basecamp reserves the right to end the programme over chronic abuse, but says existing participants would keep their discount.
