On the WV PATH home page, "Screen for Assistance" (blue box, bottom left, second from the left) checks eligibility without an account; "Apply Now" (green box, bottom right) needs an account. Paper forms - SNAP Application, Application/Redetermination, and a Spanish SNAP application - are on https://bfa.wv.gov/bfa-programs/snap and go to the Customer Service Center (P.O. Box 1668, Charleston WV 25326-1668, fax 304-558-1869) or a local DoHS field office.
Who qualifies for SNAP in West Virginia?
Based on household size, income, assets and some household expenses. Asset limit $3,000, or $4,750 if at least one person is 60 or older or disabled - but most households are not subject to the asset limit at all.
