The official Find Food page states: food is available to all who need it. No income test, ID or proof of address is listed as a requirement for the pantry network, and immigration status is not mentioned. Individual partner pantries may have their own rules. The separate CSFP senior programme does have rules: residents of Charleston, Beaufort, Berkeley, Dorchester, Georgetown, Horry or Williamsburg counties aged 60 or over who meet the USDA income guidelines.

The food bank works through 240+ partner agencies. Outside 8am-4pm on weekdays, or at weekends, call the SC United Way hotline on 211.
